Overview

Most manual access doors are designed with the average able-bodied person in mind and therefore can be difficult for some people, especially the disabled to use.  Poor door and access design coupled with heavy door closers often make access even more difficult. 

Replacing manual doors with low energy doors or automatic doors at access points to buildings such as retail stores, banks and building societies, airports, hotels and healthcare facilities allows the opening and closing of doors without the need for physical effort and therefore eliminates all access problems at a stroke.
