Overview

These systems are ideal for the protection of civil and military aircraft hangers that utilise “under wing” short throw fixed nozzles and high powered “long throw” oscillating foam monitors.  The type of foam nozzles, branchpipes and monitors, their flow rate and discharge angle are all individually tailored by Tyco design engineers to suit client specific risk requirements.

Medium expansion foam systems can also be used for the protection of high hazard LNG, LPG and Oil storage tanks.  These systems can be supplied as “stand alone” systems or as a combination of Medium Velocity water spray nozzles, storage tank bund protection and storage tank rim seal and tank top protection, depending on the type of risk involved.
