Overview
The LaserMethane units allow methane detection at distance in a choice of two handheld packages. Utilising Tuneable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) methane column density is measured and displayed on backlit displays in both numerical and graphical formats.

- Detection up to 100m
- Lighweight at only 600g
- 5 hour battery
- Automatic ranging
Both instruments perform a self check on start-up verifying the operation and calibration of the laser diode by referencing an inbuilt methane cell. Consequently the LaserMethane units eliminate the need for external calibration.
